Description
When you spend a lot of time around rope, it tends to overtake your life–sometimes, in very useful ways. We have an abundance of marine plastic rope always at arms’ reach, and one of the ways we’ve repurposed it is by turning it into leashes for our three dogs.
Red, Gerda, and Pecker told us they wanted to find ways join us careless humans in the fight against climate crisis, and so this is one inter-species, team-based solution we came up with.
The thing about retired marine plastic rope is that it’s a very versatile fibre. It’s STRONG and made to withstand an underwater ocean environment. So, it makes a great material resource for dog leashes, especially when they need to be rugged. Our leashes take a beating so that our dogs can live well.
Our Enviro Dog Leashes would make sweet gifts for canine loving hikers, doggo linguists, “hoomans,” and beach combers. They come in 5 different lengths, are thoughtfully packaged, and are accompanied with a “Canines Against Climate Crisis” dog tag.
